Wednesday, Jan. 1
Road rage accusations: Police were called at 6:34 p.m. by a motorist who said another driver had pointed a gun at him during a road rage incident. The two drivers had apparently been arguing while driving on Moraga Road between St. Mary's Road and Larch Avenue. The caller said the driver of a green Honda Civic had reached into the back seat and produced a black handgun. Officers contacted the owner of the Honda. He said the caller had been driving recklessly and tailgating him for several miles. He said he had a cell phone in his hand, not a gun. The incident is under investigation.
Thursday, Jan. 2
Auto burglary: Officers were notified at 5:15 p.m. that a dirt bike and some documents had been stolen from a red 1989 Toyota truck that had been parked in a condominium complex on Ascot Court.
Saturday, Jan. 4
Stolen laptop: Police were informed at 11:52 p.m. that a laptop computer had been stolen during a party at a residence on Paseo Grande Drive. The resident accused several people who'd been kicked out of the party of taking the computer, but officers couldn't find the laptop on the suspects or in their vehicle. The case is under investigation.
Sunday, Jan. 5
DUI arrest: A 22-year-old Danville man was arrested at 12:53 a.m. for driving under the influence after officers observed him making a right turn from the left turn only lane from Campolindo Drive onto Moraga Road.
Another DUI arrest: A 23-year-old man was arrested at 2:58 a.m. for driving under the influence near Campolindo Drive and Corte del Campo.
Stolen phone: Officers were informed at 10:32 a.m. that an iPhone and a wallet were stolen from an unlocked vehicle at Campolindo High School while the vehicle's owner was swimming at the school's pool.
