They are able shop for free at the thrift store for clothes for job interviews and school as well as items to furnish a new place to live after graduation. Proceeds from the thrift store directly support the women and children at Shepherd’s Gate by providing care, safety, education and encouragement as they rebuild their lives. LIVERMORE, CA — Firefighters in Livermore quickly extinguished a car fire on westbound Interstate Highway 580 near N. Flynn Road. The blaze was reported at 5 p.m. Thursday, according to the California Highway Patrol.
