Body Found Off Long Beach Coast
Lifeguards recovered the body and notified the coroner's office, which will attempt to identify the man and the cause of death, police said.
LONG BEACH, CA — A body was found in the water off Long Beach Wednesday, but the cause of death was not immediately apparent.
The discovery was reported to authorities about noon in the area of 30 W. Shoreline Drive, according to Nancy Pratt of the Long Beach Police Department.
Lifeguards recovered the body and notified the coroner's office, which will attempt to identify the man and determine his cause of death, Pratt said.
