Dead Body Found In Long Beach

LONG BEACH, CA — Long Beach Police Officers discovered a dead body near the Los Angeles Riverbed early Monday morning.

Officers received a report about the body in the area of the riverbed and the Pacific Coast Highway at 6:21 a.m. The investigation is ongoing with the Los Angeles County Coroner's office and LBPD officers still on the scene.

No information regarding the identity or circumstances was released as they have yet to be determined, according to LBPD.

Traffic on PCH is restricted in the area while the investigation takes place, officers said.
