Five Hospitalized From Strange Odor On Jet Blue Flight

The Jet Blue flight had to make an emergency landing in Oklahoma City.

LONG BEACH, CA – An unknown odor in the cockpit of a flight out of Long Beach Airport forced the pilot to make an emergency landing in Oklahoma City, according to KWTV. Jet Blue Flight 944 departed Long Beach Airport on Tuesday morning and was bound for Lauderdale, Florida, according to CBS.

Three crew members and two passengers were taken to a hospital with breathing problems, according to KWTV, and are expected to be okay. An additional 20 to 25 passengers were evaluated at the scene and some were given oxygen tanks. The two passengers that were hospitalized were released and joined the rest of the travelers on a new flight to Florida later this morning, according to NewsOK.
