HazMat Team Responds To Goodwill Near Glassell Park

Employees experienced some sort of respiratory problem from an unknown source.

LOS ANGELES, CA – Firefighters sent to the Goodwill facility at 3150 N. San Fernando Road in the Glassell Park area on a report of a possible hazardous materials situation say no patients have signs or symptoms of a hazardous materials exposure.

There was a "nuisance smell" at the location that prompted employees to leave the building, officials said. The building remains evacuated as a precaution while hazardous materials crews seek the source of the odor.
