Identity of Pier Bike Rack Stalker Wanted Near Seal Beach

A man caught on camera stealing bikes under the pier is wanted for questioning by the Huntington Beach Police Department. Have you seen him?

HUNTINGTON BEACH, CA — Have you seen this man? The Huntington Beach Police Department is attempting to identify a tall, dark haired, bearded man seen near the bike rack area underneath the Huntington Beach pier.

"The suspect was captured on video loitering in the area for about 25 minutes before removing the cable lock and riding off with the bike," they said in Facebook release.

The suspect is a white male, approximately 6-foot to 6-foot-two-inches tall, approximately 200- to 220 pounds, with black thinning hair, mustache and goatee beard.

He was last seen wearing a black T-shirt, basketball shorts with white trim and flip flops.

The bike in question was a Giant/Sedona, 21-speed white beach cruiser.

"We ask anyone with any information to please call the Huntington Beach Police Information Hotline at 714 375-5066," they said. "Anyone wishing to remain anonymous should call Orange County Crime Stoppers at 1-855-TIP-OCCS (855-847-6227)."
