Man Stabbed at Anaheim Park while Distracted by Pokemon Go

Anaheim, CA--A man playing Pokemon Go in Anaheim last night was stabbed multiple times at a local park. Police are still searching for at least five suspects.

Investigators believe the victim was playing the game and entered the park area, running into the group.

It is unclear what started the confrontation, but the members of the group attacked and stabbed the Pokemon Go player.

Though he was stabbed multiple times, the victim is expected to survive.

“If you are playing the game do it safely,” Anaheim Police Sgt. Luis Correa said. “Don’t lose sight of what you are doing. Be aware of your surroundings.”
