Plane Makes Emergency Landing in O.C. Landfill
The pilot and passenger aboard the Beechcraft were unhurt.

The pilot of a small plane with an engine problem made an emergency landing this afternoon at the Brea Olinda Landfill, but no one was hurt and the aircraft was undamaged.
The pilot set down the Beechcraft Bonanza at 1942 Valencia Ave. about 12:50 p.m. The landfill is about eight miles east of Fullerton Municipal Airport, according to Ian Gregor of the Federal Aviation Administration.
The pilot and passenger aboard the Beechcraft were unhurt, Gregor said. They were headed from Fullerton to Chino, he said.

The FAA will investigate the incident, Gregor said.
