The subjects dropped the property and fled on foot. No arrests were made and no vehicle was seen. Officers are following up on the description provided by the painter.

On that same evening, an auto burglary was reported from the 2200 block of Homestead Court. Between the evening of Aug. 25 and the morning of Aug. 26 an unknown suspect, or suspects, entered the victim's vehicle by smashing the window and removing several collectable coins valued at $700.
