LOS GATOS, CA - Are you hoping to land a job at the largest tech company in Los Gatos? Netflix gained attention earlier this year when the company announced that it will provide up to a year of paid parental leave to most employees when a baby is born or adopted. In addition to that stellar perk, the company offers medical and dental insurance, a 401k plan, stock options, an employee stock purchase plan, transportation benefits and work from home opportunities.

Netflix is an integral part of the Los Gatos economy with 825 employees, making it the second largest employer behind Mission Oaks Hospital. According to the Los Gatos Annual Fiscal Report filed in January 2015, “The Town relies heavily on sales tax revenues to support General Fund operations, comprising approximately 21% of General Fund revenues.” Until recently, Netflix accounted for nearly 40% of all sales tax received by Los Gatos. However, that has declined because of a change in the Netflix business model.
