April 13-19 is National Library Week.  The Friends of the Menlo Park Library proudly is one of the Library’s oldest volunteer groups.
Through 62 years of bookselling efforts, we have supported and augmented Library programs and enhanced special events and resources.  In the recent difficult economic times, the Friends were still able to raise enough money to help its State-recognized Project Read, to fulfill all the requests of the Library, and to sponsor special events, all on volunteer hours.  We are especially proud of our support of storytelling, teen and adult literacy programs.  To benefit those from the cradle to the golden years, we have worked for our community.

Join us and patrons, volunteers and staff in celebrating National Library Week!
