10:11 a.m. – A resident of Montford Ave. reported that someone dug up the plants in her front yard, and that she suspected a local real estate agent had done the digging. The woman told police that she had a “heated discussion” with the agent recently for putting a sign on the corner.
11:22 a.m. – Someone stole lemons off the deck of a Beverly Terrace home while the resident was out of town, according to a report filed with police. The woman told police that she returned home from vacation and that all 15 lemons from her lemon tree were gone.
6:43 p.m. – California Highway Patrol received a report that a late 1970s era black sedan was weaving and having trouble maintaining a straight line on southbound Hwy. 101 at the Seminary Drive exit. Local police scanned the area around the exit but were unable to locate a car that matched the description.
6:48 p.m. – A green Honda CRV was reported weaving and speeding up and slowing down repeatedly in the area of East Blithedale Ave. and Camino Alto. A witness told police the driver was possible under the influence. Police checked the area but were unable to locate the CRV.
10:08 a.m. – A resident reported to police that her daughter’s iPhone 4 was stolen from her desk at the end of class period at Tam High last Friday. The daughter said the phone was on her desk and that as she turned around to get her backpack at the end of the period, someone walking out grabbed her phone.
12:30 p.m. – A resident called police to report that someone was playing bongos loudly in the Depot Plaza. Police contacted the percussionist and he agreed to stop percussing.
4:50 a.m. – A driver struck a tree near the intersection of East Blithedale and Camino Alto but was uninjured. No crime was committed.
9:01 a.m. – A resident of Miwok Way reported coming out to her silver 2005 Toyota Corolla and spotting a number of scratches on her car in the parking lot. She told police she did not know if the scratches were made by another car or by a vandal.
3:21 p.m. – Police received multiple reports that the homeless people panhandling on the median at East Blithedale and Camino Alto was stepping into the roadway and stopping traffic. Police went to the scene and observed no such violation. Police reminded the people asking for change to stay out of the roadway. Police determined that there was no merit to complaints that the people had been drinking.
6:19 p.m. – A resident spotted a dog inside a black Nissan Altima parked on Throckmorton Ave. near La Ginestra and said the dog had been inside the car, with all of the windows up, for a few hours. Police went to the scene and determined that the dog was not in distress and that the temperature inside the car was fine.
8:33 p.m. – A resident reported hearing electric guitar and singing in the Depot Plaza. Police went to the scene and advised the band performing of the need to have a permit.
8:44 a.m. – A resident of Tamalpais Commons reported that a neighbor’s dog had been barking and howling all night long, and that the dog sits on the home’s deck and doesn’t appear to have access inside the residence. Police went to the home and left a note on the door, as no one appeared to be home at the time.
1:06 a.m. – An officer on patrol reportedly spotted a car unable to maintain a straight line, pulled over the car and cited the driver on suspicion of driving under the influence. The driver was released to a responsible party.
