6 Displaced In San Jose Fire

Crews responded at 11:26 a.m. to the fire at the Foothills Mobilodge and RV Park.

SAN JOSE, CA -- Six people were displaced and a recreational vehicle was destroyed this morning at a mobile home park in San Jose, fire officials said. Crews responded at 11:26 a.m. to the fire at the Foothills Mobilodge and RV Park near Virginia Place and South 34th Street and found the RV on fire, said San Jose fire Capt. Mike Van Elgort.

In addition, another RV and a mobile home were also damaged in the blaze, Van Elgort said.

No injuries were reported in the blaze.

The fire was knocked down by 11:56 a.m. and crews stayed to monitor the scene, Van Elgort said.

The blaze was determined to be accidental but the cause was not released.
