A 45-year-old paroled registered sex offender pleaded guilty today to flashing eight women in Orange County and was immediately sentenced to 10 years in prison.
Patrick Dodenhoff accepted a plea bargain from an Orange County Superior Court judge, according to Senior Deputy District Attorney Robert Mestman. He pleaded guilty to eight felony counts of indecent exposure for incidents in March, Mestman said.
Dodenhoff was released from prison in December and living in San Luis Obispo, according to Brea police. The parolee was on GPS monitoring, but he removed the device March 3, according to police.
Dodenhoff was convicted of seven instances of indecent exposure from 1997 through 2008 in Southern California, according to prosecutors.
Among the cities where Dodenhoff exposed himself are:
- Mission Viejo
- Laguna Hills
- Dana Point
Dodenhoff also admitted failing to register as a sex offender in 2009, according to prosecutors.
