Woman Fatally Struck Outside Mission Viejo Area Home

MISSION VIEJO, CA — A 55-year-old woman who was fatally injured after she was hit by a pickup truck in Foothill Ranch was identified Sunday by the Orange County coroner.

Kathleen Cook of Foothill Ranch was hit outside a residence on Eldorado approximately 9:30 p.m. Saturday, according to reports.

Cook was taken to Mission Hospital Regional Medical Center in Mission Viejo, where she died about two hours later, according to the coroner.
