Man's Body Found In Riverbed In South El Monte
The man believed to be in his 20s was located near Peck Road and Durfee Avenue just after 1 p.m. Sunday, according to the coroner's office.
SOUTH EL MONTE, CA — A body found in a riverbed by the San Gabriel River in South El Monte was that of a man, authorities said Monday.
The man believed to be in his 20s was located near Peck Road and Durfee Avenue just after 1 p.m. Sunday, according to coroner's Investigator Jerry McKibben. An autopsy was pending to determine cause of death.
The man's name was withheld pending family notification.
