Something Healthy offers quick, casual dining for those who want to expand beyond the normal fast food options.

Overview:  Something Healthy is the perfect choice for those who are looking for a quick, satisfying meal made with lots of fresh ingredients. The menu offers a variety of meat and vegetarian options. All of their dressings and sauces are made from scratch.

Décor:  Simple yet eclectic with black floors and tables, bright green chairs, pale floral wall paper, and chandeliers hanging from the ceiling. Menu items are written up in colorful chalk on the black boards over the counter. The front of the restaurant has a couch and a coffee table, and there are umbrella patio tables outside.

Drinks:  In addition to their ever popular smoothies (Mango, Strawberry, Blueberry) for $4, Naked Juices are available for $2.25. Iced tea, Bottled water, Izze, Gatorade, Vitamin Water, and soft drinks are generally in the range of $1-$2.

Sandwiches:  Their Garden Sandwich ($7) with black bean hummus, feta, avocado, pickled onions, tomatoes, cilantro, and mayo on whole wheat is the most popular vegetarian choice, and the Sun Dried Tomato Turkey ($7.25) with avocado, alfalfa sprouts, sun-dried tomato spread, and butter lettuce on sourdough is also popular. One of their most requested paninis is the Turkey Pesto ($7.50), which comes with fire roasted red peppers, basil pesto, garlic aioli, provolone, and olives, served on sour dough.

Other hot paninis include spicy Caribbean Jerk Chicken ($7.50) with jerk aioli, mango salsa, black bean hummus, cheddar, and garlic aioli; and either the Roast Beef Melt or a Tuna Melt ($7.25). Cold sandwiches include Greek Chicken, Chicken Club, and Roast Beef ($7). Wraps include Greek Tuna for $7.75, Southwestern Turkey, Mediterranean Chicken, and Caribbean Mango with grilled chicken for $7.25, and Turkey Caesar, Orange Chicken, Parmesan Chicken, or a Veggie wrap with soy eggs, avocado, tomatoes, romaine, and honey mustard for $7.

Sides:  Fruit parfait with vanilla yogurt and honey almond granola ($3), Chips ($0.75), seasonal varieties of soup ($2.50).

Salads:  The Oriental Chicken Salad ($7) with romaine hearts, field greens, carrots, crispy wontons, roasted walnuts, tangerines and orange-sesame dressing is a favorite. Other options include the Something Healthy House Salad ($7) with field greens, seasonal fruits, feta, roasted walnuts, and balsamic dressing, or the Chicken Caeser Salad for $7. Greek Tuna Salad ($7.50) comes with albacore, romaine, cucumber tzatziki, tomatoes, feta, pine nuts, red onions, avocado, and red wine vinaigrette. The Chicken Cobb is $7.25, and the Vegetarian Garden salad is $6.

House-made dressings include balsamic-thyme, red wine, orange-sesame, and honey mustard vinaigrette, thousand island, caesar, and light ranch.
