Monrovia's Got Talent...and Pancakes


Where:  (400 S. Baldwin Ave., Arcadia)

When: Friday 9/16: 6 p.m.

Lil’ Mo and the Dynaflo’s take the stage at 6 p.m., East Coast swing dancing lessons at 6:30 and 7:45 p.m. Best of all, it’s free!


When: 9/24, 7 a.m.

Where: (222 W. Sierra Madre Blvd, Sierra Madre)

$5 buys you the pancake breakfast hosted by the Kiwanis Club, which will be served from 7-11 a.m. From 9 a.m.-noon, free health screenings will also be available for seniors!

Where: (1115 El Centro St., South Pasadena)

Join the library for a Moon Festival with food, games, arts, crafts, performances, Chinese Lion dancing, Chinese acrobats and a fear factor contest. Admission is free and all are welcome.

Part talent competition, part Texas BBQ, this event is sure to be fun for the whole family. Tickets are $35.

Where: Pasadena City Hall (100 N. Garfield Ave., Pasadena)

Join the Pasadena Symphony for a free concert at the newly-renovated City Hall Centennial Square. The concert, featuring award-winning artists, begins at 7:30 p.m. with pre-concert activities and dining beginning at 5:30 p.m.
