Professional networking site, LinkedIn has partnered with Taleo Corp., leading provider of SaaS-based talent management solutions to harness the power of social recruiting. For Taleo customers, “LinkedIn Profile Upload” which leverages the “Apply with LinkedIn” technology is expected to substantially increase the size of candidate pools by reducing the drop-off rates on lengthy application forms. Recruiters can now not only access LinkedIn profiles directly through Taleo Recruiting™ but also collaborate with their colleagues and track applicant’s progress during the application process.

Eye-Fi, the Mountain View-based developer of wireless memory cards, announced an exclusive partnership agreement with SanDisk for distribution of co-branded wireless memory cards in the EMEA (Europe, Middle East and Africa) region. Available in 4GB and 8GB capacities, the SanDisk® Eye-Fi Wireless memory card allows consumers to instantly transfer photos and videos from a camera to a nearby smartphone or tablet. Features include Class 4 minimum sustained write speed, 802.11n wireless performance, automatic backup and social media integration.

Intuit, provider of business and financial solutions to small and mid-sized businesses, is gearing up to host its “ Annual Investor Day” at its Mountain View headquarters on Sept 21. Following sessions on strategy, there will be an“Innovation Gallery Walk” showcasing nearly 20 mobile innovations.

Besides automatically curating a “Smart List”for users by categorizing their connections into groups such as work, school, family and city, the new feature will also give user the ability to organize friends into lists such as close friends lists and restricted lists.
