UPDATED: Dozens Hurt in Menifee School Bus Crash
Fire officials say at least one person has major injuries.

An occupant in the Nissan Sentra involved in the crash with the school bus ran from the scene, though officials could not immediately say why.
The school bus driver was not hurt. One student complained of feeling unwell after the collision and was taken to the hospital for ”precautionary reasons,’’California Highway Patrol Officer Jose Serrano said.
No arrests were anticipated, though the investigation was ongoing, the officer said.

Some 19 students were on the Perris Union High School District Bus, fire officials said.
One student was taken to a trauma center with moderate injuries. Three patients in the passenger vehicle were taken by ground ambulance; one with serious injuries, one with moderate injuries and one with minor injuries.

MENIFEE, CA- Twenty-two people have been injured in a crash involving a school bus and a vehicle at Evans and Holland roads in Menifee.
Riverside County fire officials say one person in the vehicle suffered major injuries, while 20 people on the bus suffered moderate injuries. One other person in the vehicle suffered minor injuries in the crash, reported just before 2 p.m.
“Firefighters established a triage and began evaluating patients,” Riverside County Fire Department Spokeswoman April Newman said.
A photo from the scene, embedded below, shows a sedan which appears to have struck near the driver’s side of the bus.
As of 3:45 p.m., a total of three people had been hospitalized so far, according to Newman.
There’s no immediate word on the ages of the people on the school bus.
