Fire Destroys Lake Elsinore Home, Displaces Occupant

Fire tore through a Lake Elsinore woman’s motorhome Monday, gutting the structure and leaving her homeless.

The non-injury blaze broke out around 3:10 a.m. in the 15100 block of Zieglinde Drive, according to the Riverside County Fire Department. There was no immediate word on the cause.

An agency spokeswoman said four engine crews and a truck company, numbering 17 personnel, arrived to find the coach fully engulfed in flames, which took about 25 minutes to extinguish.

Representatives from the American Red Cross were summoned to assist the victim, identified only as a senior citizen.
