Murrieta Man Suspected in Chino Hills Burglary

Kiwante Ansley, 38, of Murrieta, was arrested in connection with the Aug. 29 burglary of a Chino Hills residence.

Murrieta Man Suspected in Chino Hills Burglary
A Murrieta man is accused of breaking into a Chino Hills home and allegedly taking cash and jewelry.

An investigation linked Kiwante Ansley, 38, of Murrieta to the burglary that occurred at 1:30 p.m. Thursday, according to a new release issued by Chino Hills police.


Deputies with the San Bernardino Sheriff's Department had responded to a home in the 1600 block of Rancho Hills Drive when a burglary alarm activated. They found that someone had forced entry into the residence, and learned that cash and jewelry were allegedly missing.

Ansley was linked to the burglary through evidence at the scene, according to the news release. He was also allegedly found with a large sum of money.

The Murrieta resident was arrested on suspicion of committing the burglary and was booked at West Valley Detention Center in Rancho Cucamonga.

Chino Hills police are continuing their investigation and believe there may be other suspects involved.
