New Homes Coming to Menifee in Early 2013

Brookfield Homes this week announced that its new homes in Big Sky, a neighborhood included in the master-planned community of Audie Murphy Ranch in Menifee, are on schedule for an early 2013 debut.

Audie Murphy Ranch, named for the decorated World War II hero who returned to ranch on the land, comprises 1,100 acres located east of Interstate 215 off Newport Road between Murrieta and Goetz roads. Brookfield Residential is developing the community bordering an ecological reserve. Amenities will include three parks, a pool, trails and a recreation center, among others.

Big Sky is an elevated community setting against a backdrop of rock formations and distant panoramas of the San Bernardino Mountains, open space and the valley, according to a news release from Brookfield Homes, a member of Brookfield Residential.

Pare anticipated to start from the low $300,000s.

Big Sky's one- and two-story floor plans will range from approximately 2,790 to 3,800 square feet, with four to five bedrooms and three- and four–car garages.

The optional first floor living suite that is located within the house yet separated from the main living areas with a private side entrance and an optional mini-kitchenette will showcase an architectural highlight for buyers with college-age children or older relatives residing at home who want an exclusive living area of their own.

Other smart spaces will include super dining rooms, super laundry rooms, outdoor rooms and abundant storage for toys, tools and sports equipment.

“Big Sky is a very special Brookfield Homes neighborhood, one that has been thoughtfully planned exclusively for buyers at Audie Murphy Ranch — it will be the only collection of its kind,” said Rocky Tracy, vice president of sales for Brookfield Homes.

“We understand the importance of finding a home that perfectly fits ones life and Big Sky was designed to offer home buyers functional, beautiful interior spaces coupled with large lots that are generously sized for outdoor dining and entertaining with family and friends. The neighborhood’s architectural flexibility and its numerous customizing options will also present homeowners with the freedom to change their home as their life and styles evolve over time. Buyers who want to enjoy the benefits of a contemporary floor plan and experience a more personal connection to nature will have the opportunity to enjoy a new home in a magnificent, rural community environment, and we anticipate an enthusiastic response as Big Sky evolves in the months ahead.”
