SigAlert: Vehicle Fire Jams I-15 Traffic In Murrieta, Temecula

MURRIETA, CA — Crews were working Wednesday afternoon to contain a vehicle fire that spread into vegetation along northbound Interstate 15 at Nutmeg Street in Murrieta, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The incident was reported at 2:39 p.m.
No injuries were reported but traffic was stopped as far south as Winchester Road in Temecula.
A SigAlert was issued at 3:12 p.m. due to the freeway snarl.
