Body Found in North Bay Golf Course Pond

NORTH BAY, CA -- The body of a man in his 50s was found in a pond around 1 p.m. Jan. 5 at the Cypress Lakes Golf Course, located at 5601 Meridian Road southeast of Vacaville city limits, the County Sheriff's office said.

The man was golfing by himself when he died, sheriff's Deputy Christine Castillo said. He has not been identified pending notification of his family.

Foul play is not suspected in the death, the Sheriff's Office said, but no information was available on any existing medical condition or medical episode he might have suffered.
