Napa Gang Member, Pal Arrested in Petaluma

Miguel Angel Medina, 21 and Gustavo Adolfo Rendon, 32 are being held without bail at the Sonoma County Jail on suspicion of multiple charges, according to the Sonoma County Sheriff's Office. Rendon is also on an immigration hold.

Napa Gang Member, Pal Arrested in Petaluma

Two Napa men, a 21-year-old gang member and a 32-year-old fugitive, were arrested Friday evening in Petaluma, according to a media release from the Sonoma County Sheriff's Office:

On 9/28/2012 at about 6 pm, a Sonoma County Sheriff’s Deputy contacted two subjects parked in a car on Adobe Road and Lynch Road in Petaluma. The driver of the vehicle was a criminal street gang member and on felony probation out of Napa County.

The passenger identified himself using a false name, but was later identified and learned to have a felony warrant out of Napa County.

A search of the vehicle revealed a loaded 9mm handgun under the driver's seat. The serial number of the gun had been removed.

Miguel Angel Medina (21 years) of Napa was booked at Sonoma County Jail for Being a Convicted Felon in Possession of a Firearm (felony), Carrying a Loaded Firearm in a Public Place (felony), Possession of a Firearm with the Serial Number Removed (felony) and Possession of Stolen Property (felony). He is currently being held without bail.

Gustavo Adolfo Rendon (32 years) of Napa was booked at Sonoma County Jail for his Napa County warrant and False Identification to a Peace Officer (misdemeanor). He currently has a "No Bail" Immigration Hold.
