Stalking suspect arrested Thursday
Napa police say at 1:51 p.m. Thursday they arrested Michael David Lowder, 38, of Napa on suspicion of stalking and violation of a domestic violence court order at a residence in the 2100 block of West F street, just a day after he was released from jail. Lowder is suspected of damaging the victim’s vehicle, and he is serving two Napa County probations.
Suspect arrested for domestic violence and kidnapping
Police say a 51-year-old transient, Harold Edgar Whitely, threw a victim to the ground by her hair during an argument around 9:30 p.m., causing a laceration. The victim got away from Whitely, but he found her again later, walking in the vicinity of 4th and Randolph streets. Police say he threw her to the ground again and pulled her several blocks against her will, which was the state of affairs police say they encountered when they found Whitely, who is also on non-revocable parole for domestic violence. Whitely was arrested for domestic violence and kidnapping and booked at the county jail.
Suspect arrested for failing to register as a sex offender
Napa police say a verbal dispute Thursday evening at the 900 block of Vallejo Street led them to find Morgan Marie Robertson of Napa, who police say tried to give them a fake name. Police were not tricked however, and found out her real name and what they say is her failure to register as a sex offender. Robertson was arrested on an outstanding warrant from another county, plus her suspected failure to register as a sex offender and charges of giving police a false name.
Arrest for violation of probation
Police say they found Octavio Deharo, 20, from Napa, in front of the library At noon Thursday. Police figured out he was on probation, with terms allowing them to search him on contact. Police searched Deharo and found what they say are photos, which violate the particular terms of his probation. Deharo was arrested and booked at the county jail.
Another arrest for violating probation terms
Police say 19-year-old Ruben Vergara, of Napa, was searched at his residence in the 200 block of Clay Street Wedensday evening as part of a probation-allowed search. Police say they arrested Vergara for possessing letters in violation of his probation terms and for being seen in the company of another particular person, which was a violation of his probation terms. Police say Vergara was booked at the county jail without incident.
