Unruly Red Hen Patron Arrested, Napa Police Say

An evening at the Red Hen Cantina turned into a night in the Napa jail for a far-from-sober 31-year-old Walnut Creek man who resisted all efforts to get him to leave the restaurant, according to a shift activity log from the City of Napa Police Department:

On 09/21/12 about 2038 hours NPD Officers were dispatched to the Red Hen Cantina at 4175 Solano Ave. regarding an unwanted subject.

Upon the Officers arrival, they contacted the suspect, Elliot Galarza 31 years old of Walnut Creek. Galarza was determined to be very intoxicated and was placed under arrest.

Galarza began to resist officers prior to leaving the scene and he was subsequently secured.

After the fracas, Galarza was taken to the Napa County Department of Corrections and booked on suspicion of public intoxication and resisting a police officer, according to the log. Arrest information does not indicate a conviction.
