An emergency response was triggered at John Wayne Airport Wednesday when a small plane was forced to land with collapsed landing gear.One person was aboard the plane, a BE35 Bonanza's nose Bonanza, but the pilot wasn't injured in the rough landing, said Orange County Fire Authority Capt. Steve Concialdi.The incident occurred at 2:37 p.m. at runway 20. An emergency response was triggered at John Wayne Airport Wednesday when a small plane was forced to land with collapsed landing gear.
