Detectives from the Los Angeles Police Department's Valley Traffic Division today asked for the public's help in finding a driver who struck and killed a pedestrian in North Hollywood and then fled.The crash occurred at 11:25 p.m. Sunday when a black Jeep Cherokee struck a pedestrian at Burbank Boulevard and Beck Avenue, throwing him into on coming traffic where he was struck for a second time by a vehicle described as possibly a 1990s light-colored four-door sedan. The driver of the second vehicle is the one being sought.The pedestrian died from injuries at a hospital.
