Body Found In Backyard Swimming Pool In Encino

Paramedics responded to a report of a possible drowning in Encino Thursday. An Investigation is ongoing.

ENCINO, CA — Authorities are investigating the apparent drowning of a man whose body was found in the backyard of a swimming pool in Encino Thursday.

Los Angeles Fire Department paramedics were called to a home in the 17000 block of West McCormick Street shortly after 3 p.m. to respond to a report of a man found dead in a swimming pool, said LAFD spokesman Brian Humphrey.

No other injuries were reported. Authorities did not identify the man. It wasn't immediately clear if the man resided at the location.
