Worker Injured in Fire that Damanges Auto Repair Shop in Sun Valley

The cause of the fire, which damaged the single-story building and at least one vehicle, was under investigation.

SUN VALLEY, CA — A worker suffered burns to his arms Friday in a fire at an auto parts and repair shop in Sun Valley.

Firefighters sent to Mini World Inc. at 8729 Bradley Ave. at 12:10 p.m. extinguished the flames in 22 minutes, according to Brian Humphrey of the Los Angeles Fire Department.

The injured man, who suffered second-degree burns to both arms, was in fair condition when taken to a hospital, Humphrey said.

The cause of the fire, which damaged the single-story building and at least one vehicle, was considered accidental but remained under investigation, Humphrey said.

The estimated monetary loss was being tabulated, he said.
