Firefighters Tackle Northridge Apartment Blaze
Breaking: The cause of a fire at a Northridge apartment building Friday afternoon remains under investigation.
NORTHRIDGE, CA -- Authorities are investigating an apartment fire that damaged a Northridge building Friday afternoon.
No one was hurt in the blaze, and the flames were quickly extinguished by the Los Angeles Fire Department.
The call came into firefighters at about 1:30 p.m., and crews were sent to the 9800 block of Zelzah Avenue. The fire was extinguished within 19 minutes, the Los Angeles Fire Department reported.
