DUI Checkpoint Planned in Pacifica This Weekend
Police announce DUI/driver's license checkpoint.

PACIFICA, CA — Pacifica police will be staffing a DUI/driver's license checkpoint in town Friday night, officials say.
The operation is planned for Friday night at an undisclosed location in town. It's set to begin at 7 p.m. and last through 1 a.m. Sunday.
"Officers will be looking for signs of alcohol and/or drug impairment while also checking drivers
for proper licensing," officials said in a news release. "This will only momentarily delay motorists. When possible, specially trained officers will be available to evaluate those suspected of drug-impaired driving, which now accounts for a growing number of impaired driving crashes."
