The Oak Room Hosts Palisades State of the Union Watch Party

Obama's annual State of the Union address is the most important speech he delivers and could be the most important of his entire presidency, argues the Washington Post.

Obama's State of the Union address begins at 6 p.m. PST on Tuesday, Feb. 12.

A watch party will be held at The Oak Room at 1029 Swarthmore Avenue
Pacific Palisades, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m.

Those interested in attending can RSVP online. It's being hosted by Palisades resident Jane Crist.

During the State of the Union, the President is expected to preview the 2014 federal budget and discuss, among other issues, gun control, job creation, infrastructure repair, deficit and debt, climate change, the military and protecting the middle class, according to useconomy.about.com.
