COD Partners With PaCE To Present Photovoltaic Training
The training will include 60 hours of classroom lectures to prepare students for relevant certification exams.

From College Of The Desert: Interested in a career in the solar industry? College of theDesert’s (COD) Partnership and Community Education (PaCE) program has scheduled two sessions of photovoltaic training.
The Solar Photovoltaic Principles and Applications training includes 60-hours of classroom lecture to prepare participants for the certification exam, GRID Alternatives hands-on experience installing a solar system, job fair with local industry vendors, and an opportunity to take the North American Board of Certified Energy Practitioners (NABCEP) Entry Level Exam.
The sessions are on Tuesday and Thursday from 5:30 to 9:30 p.m., Jan. 24 to March 16 or April 25 to June 15, 2017. All sessions will be held on the COD Palm Desert Campus, 43500 Monterey Avenue, Palm Desert, in the Applied Sciences Building. Cost is $995.
