Intelligent Transportation Society of California Conference Begins in Indian Wells
Almost 50 companies also will have their products on display during a major vendor exhibition.

INDIAN WELLS, CA - The latest developments in transportation technology will be showcased during the 22nd annual Intelligent Transportation Society of California conference and exhibition starting Monday in Indian Wells.
Attendees at the three-day conference will get a closer look at how municipalities are implementing or planning for the adoption of emergent technologies such as automated vehicles, signal synchronization, and the prospect of smart cities.
The conference will also include tours of two Palm Springs properties integral to the city's ongoing operation: the windfarm located in the San Gorgonio Pass and the city's newly opened Traffic Management Center.

Keynote speakers at the conference will include Brian P. Kelly, first secretary of the California State Transportation Agency, and Emily Castor, Lyft's director of transportation policy.
