Today’s big news comes from Newark Patch, after a Foster Farms chicken plant was closed due to a cockroach infestation.

“A Foster Farms chicken processing plant in California was closed for a second time on Sunday, according to information from the U.S. Department of Agriculture.”

“The facility in Livingston was closed for the first time on Wednesday when USDA safety inspectors found live cockroaches in the plant.  It reopened on Friday only to be closed again on Sunday morning.”
