Palo Alto Schools Sweep Top 11 Spots in California Rankings - Niche

Palo Alto Unified School District has 12 elementary schools and they just produced a stunning sweep in a ranking of best schools in the state. According to Niche, the Top 11 spots are taken by local schools. The 12th elementary school in the district placed in the Top 25.

Niche bases its ranking on “a comprehensive assessment of the overall experience of a public elementary school. This grade takes into account key factors such as the strength of academics, quality of teachers, diversity, as well as the overall quality of the school district.”

The specific criteria for rankings:

• Academics Grade: 50%
• District Overall Experience Grade: 20%
• Teachers Grade: 20%
• Student Culture & Diversity Grade: 10%
