11:06 a.m., 340 Portage Avenue: An unknown suspect smashed a car window and stole several items.

2:08 p.m., 500 block of Cowper Street: A hit-and-run accident happened.

4:57 p.m., 1400 block of Channing Avenue: Someone reported receiving unwanted and inappropriate phone calls.

8:33 p.m., 445 Bryant Street: Scott Duesenberg, 48, a San Jose resident, was arrested on suspicion of being drunk in public.

11:35 a.m., 1372 Middlfefield Road: An unknown suspect stole a political advertisement sign from someone's front yard.

3:08 p.m., 340 Portage Avenue: Matthew Vincent Pilla, 19, an East Palo Alto resident, was cited on suspicion of petty theft / shoplifting.
