Hercules PD Watch Commander's Report

The following police blotter items are selected and written by the Hercules Police Department. 

Violation of Court Order: On Oct. 11 at 9:47 p.m., officers were flagged down by a female, on Sycamore at Palm. She told officers her child’s father was waiting for her as she got home to her apartment, in the 1200 block of Willow Avenue, in violation of a served restraining order. She drove away from her apartment upon seeing him and he followed her in his vehicle. An officer stopped the responsible in the 1300 block of Willow Avenue. After an investigation the male was arrested and transported to Martinez Detention Facility.

Identity Theft:  On Oct. 12 at 9 p.m., an officer responded to the 1600 block of Partridge Drive for a report of identity theft. The victim said his son had duplicate credit cards belonging to his parents issued to him in his name. He used the credit cards to incur approximately $1,100 in unauthorized charges. The victim desires prosecution against his adult son. The son recently moved out of his girlfriend’s house in El Sobrante and his whereabouts are unknown.

Warrant Arrest and Residential Burglary: On Oct. 12 at 3:08 p.m., officers were dispatched to the area of Hercules Avenue at Skelly for a report of three suspicious subjects seen walking from the backyard in the area. All subjects were associated with a black Dodge Charger. Officers arrived on scene and located 33 year old Vianey Horo of Hercules in the front passenger seat of a black Dodge Charger. She was arrested for an outstanding warrant for her arrest. She said she was in the area with 2 other subjects to burglarize a house. With the assistance of Pinole PD’s K-9, officers checked for the outstanding suspects. Signs of a burglary were located at a residence and 43 year old Daniel McGill fled from the residence. McGill was arrested in the front yard and stolen items were located on his person. Both subjects were transported to Martinez Detention Facility.

Fraud:  On Oct. 13 at 4:06 p.m. an officer was dispatched to the 500 block of Alfred Nobel for a reported fraudulent transaction. The victim said yesterday around 2:00 p.m. tow subjects entered the business. One of the subjects purchased 6 eye glass frames. The subject who made the purchase identified himself with a Florida driver’s license. The victim found out the credit card account had been closed. This case is under investigation.

Mental Health Evaluation: On Oct. 13 at about 10:01 p.m., officers were dispatched to Thrush Court regarding 29-year-old male reportedly not taking his prescribed medication and threatening to physically harm his mother and father. The subject was subsequently transported to the Contra Costa Regional Medical Center by AMR for a mental health evaluation.

Vandalism: On Oct. 15 at about 2:48 a.m., an officer checked an occupied suspicious vehicle parked on Railroad between Santa Fe and Promenade. The lone occupant was identified as 21 year old Kyle Neesan, of Vallejo, and was determined to be on searchable probation out of Napa County for theft. During a probation search, Marijuana, a weighing scale, and several cans of spray-paint were located inside the vehicle. A case was taken and is unde
