Meet the New Amador Valley High School Principal

Michael Williams will serve as principal beginning July 1 after two years as vice principal at Amador Valley.

PLEASANTON, CA: The Pleasanton Unified School District (PUSD) is proud to announce Michael Williams as the next Principal of Amador Valley High School. Williams will begin as Principal on July 1 after serving two years as Vice Principal at Amador.

“Michael has been very active in Amador community taking on a number of leadership roles,” said Interim Superintendent Hansen. “We are thrilled to have him continue this great work in an increased capacity as principal.”

Before coming to Pleasanton, Williams previously served for four years as Assistant Principal at Cunha Intermediate School in Half Moon Bay, California. Williams experience also included four years as the Athletic Director and Physical Education teacher at Abbott Middle School in San Mateo, California.

Williams will also serve as Amador’s Interim Principal through the end of the 2015/­16 school year as Principal Thomas Drescher will be taking a leave of absence through June 30.
