Man, Dog Saved From Rancho Santa Margarita Car Fire
Deputies in Rancho Santa Margarita found a small red car fully engulfed in flames, the driver and his dog were reported as safe at the scene
RANCHO SANTA MARGARITA, CA — Did you see emergency vehicles near the lake last night? Orange County Sheriff's Deputies on patrol around Rancho Santa Margarita Lake Tuesday night discovered a car fully engulfed in flames, they reported over social media.
Officers quickly responded to the scene at the intersection of Aliento and Via Ricardo to find a man and a dog nearby the burning vehicle. Orange County Fire Authority units arrived at the scene and extinguished the blaze.
"The driver and his dog were not injured," OCSD information officers reported.
