Tractor-Trailer Fire Halted Near Ortega Highway
On a day where the brush was burning in San Clemente, Orange County Fire Authority halted this burning truck before things got bad.

RANCHO SANTA MARGARITA, CA — A tractor-trailer truck bed started smoking on Wednesday afternoon in the unincorporated area of Rancho Santa Margarita. The vehicle, hauling debris, began smoking in the late afternoon, Orange County Fire Authority Capt. Jon Muir reported.
"The trailer caught fire in the area of Avenida La Pata at the Ortega Highway," Muir said. Crews from Battalion 5, along with Engines 38, 39 and 222 arrived to extinguish the blaze.
No one was injured in the incident, and the cause of the fire remains under investigation.
