CSUSB LATINO ASSOCIATION HONORS PRESIDENT MORALES

SAN BERNARDINO, Calif. – The Association of Latino Faculty, Staff and Students at Cal State San Bernardino kicked off its annual winter celebration of members and supporters by presenting CSUSB President Tomás D. Morales with a special resolution in support of his and the university’s commitment to diversity.

The resolution listed the university’s adoption last year of the new Strategic Plan, which will serve as a guideline for CSUSB through 2020, as well as for Morales’ efforts in establishing the Office of Diversity.

More than 100 faculty, staff, students and administrators attended the winter celebration.

Established in 1985, ALFSS is a non-profit organization committed to serving a diverse community. The association awards five $1,000 scholarships annually to deserving students.
