Planning Commission to Meet Tonight at City Chambers

Here is the list of public hearing items from tonight's Planning Commission meeting at 7 p.m.

Tonight, the Redondo Beach Planning Commission is scheduled to discuss six pubic hearing items from 7 p.m. at the City Chambers.

For those who are interested in these items below are encouraged to attend the meeting and express opinions and concerns.

Item 1: A Public Hearing to consider an Exemption Declaration and Conditional Use Permit to allow the operation of a martial arts school in an existing commercial building, on property located within a Pedestrian-Oriented Commercial (C-2PD) zone.

Item 2: A Public Hearing to consider an Exemption Declaration, Conditional Use Permit and Planning Commission Design Review to allow the operation of a learning center facility with approval of overlap/shared parking within an existing commercial building, on property located in a Commercial (C-2) zone.

Item 3: A Public Hearing to consider an Exemption Declaration and Conditional Use Permit to allow the operation of a fitness center facility in an existing commercial building, on property located within a Commercial (C-5A) zone.

Item 4: A Public Hearing to consider an Exemption Declaration, Conditional Use Permit and Planning Commission Design Review to allow the operation of a martial arts school with approval of overlap/shared parking within an existing shopping center, on property located within a Mixed-Use (MU-3A) zone.

Item 5: A Public Hearing to consider an Exemption Declaration and a Variance to allow a reduced rear setback for an addition to an existing residential dwelling, on property located within a Single-Family Residential (R-1A) zone.
