It was a festive, joyous afternoon at the Creative Learning Loft in Redwood City on Sunday, Dec. 9 as owners Darlene and Mark Hampton threw their annual customer "Thank You" party to kick off the holidays.

Two fairies were on hand to paint children's faces and lead an interactive magic show, delicious lunch and desserts were catered by nearby Prima Deli, and, of course, there were plenty of entertainment and activities to keep the little ones happy.

One of the highlights every year is the large Christmas village and moving train Mark Hampton sets up in the window. Children had a fun time watching the train speed around the tracks, and parents enjoyed looking at all the tiny little details Mark lovingly puts into the display.

Creative Learning Loft offers childcare by the hour and after-school enrichment activities year-round, and even picks students up from nearby schools. Visit the center at 2149 Roosevelt Ave. or see their website at  thecreativelearningloft.com.
