1 Dead In RV Fire In San Diego County
The blaze broke out in the 23000 block of Trappers Hollow Road in Descanso.

DESCANSO, CA – A man died Monday in a fire that engulfed a recreational vehicle in southeastern San Diego
The blaze broke out in the 23000 block of Trappers Hollow Road, east of Japatul Valley Road and south of Interstate 8 in Descanso, according to Cal Fire. The flames gutted the RV and scorched a roughly 20-by 20-foot patch of brush.
The victim was found unconscious on the ground near the burning vehicle and did not respond to lifesaving attempts, Cal Fire Capt. Issac Sanchez said. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

The cause of the fire, which has since been extinguished, is under investigation.
