
SAN DIEGO, CA – A car fire closed a freeway lane and backed up traffic during the evening commute Tuesday in San Diego.
The car fire was reported at 4:22 p.m. on southbound state Route 163 at southbound Interstate 5, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The right lane of southbound SR-163 was closed. Traffic was backed up in the area.
